I couldn't figure out which picture looks better, so here are both FO pics of my shrug!
In this one I look more normal but my hair is strange, there's a weird shadow and I look kind of fat.
This is a more flattering picture, aside from the bathroom background and the weird way that my left eye is almost closed. You can really see the cable detail on the shoulder though!
The second picture shows the color more accurately, it's an off-white/ivory sort of color. I made this specifically to match the tank top you see in these pictures, it's a cashmere tank and I love the silk ribbon detail, but I really wanted to wear it in the winter so I decided to make it some sleeves. The shrug fits really well although the sleeves are a bit short. The yarn is WONDERful, it's Trendsetter Kashmir. How could cashmere/silk NOT feel good, right?
(In addition to pointing out how bad the bags under my eyes have gotten, these pictures have really driven home that I need a haircut!)
I like the shrug, it looks so cozy and warm.
The shrug looks great. I was thinking of doing it and I’m jealous now that I didn’t! Yours really looks good. Great job!
Don’t be so hard on yourself! No one is expected to look their best when they’ve just gone through the grueling process of finishing a shrug! Anyhow, I think you (and the shrug) look better in the second picture, for whatever it’s worth.
The shrug is gorgeous! I love the cable detailing on the neck.
wow! it’s so beautiful and elegant!
Your shrug looks great. I have this pattern and hope to knit it up soon.
Pretty shrug and looks great with the tank!
