Expanding my horizons

Those of you long-time readers may recognize that aside from my Koigu problem, I prefer plain, single-color knits and clothing. Well, it appears that after all this plain knitting, I've either expanded my horizons or gone completely mad. Witness this:

Raglan

I am almost done with this raglan sweater. It uses 9 colors of Aurora 8, in colors picked to resemble an old designer sweater that I saw on someone last year. 5-row stripes of 9 colors. Without even considering how much weaving in all those ends is gonna HURT, just looking at this I'm saying to myself, "self, what were you thinking?"

Will I really wear this? Will I look like some kind of circus feature?

Only time will tell. (and not much time, either, cuz it's almost done!)

I absolutely love that sweater!!!! Great choice of colors! You should definitely wear it. It reminds me of my favorite sweater I use to wear when I was little.

Supercute sweater! I think you’ll get some use out of this one.

I love it, I’m not such a multi-color person myself but I think its very cute.

Plus wrapping oneself in Aurora 8 is a good idea, regardless of color.

I think it’s a cute sweater and you should wear it. The colors are great. One day I’m going to get some of the Aurora 8, I keep hearing nothing but great things about it!
