What's this?
Oh right. It's yet another new project.
This is one of the new colors of Koigu Cashmere which I fell irrationally in love with. You'd think I'd be bored already but this stuff is amazingly stunning. 3-projects-back-to-back-amazingly-stunning. The color is a bit TOO for my taste so I decided I couldn't buy it unless I found a suitable project for it. And somehow I decided it should be gloves.
Now, this isn't my first time knitting a glove. You may remember a purple glove from last year . . . notice I say "glove." That's because I never made the second. And 4 years ago I made my first single glove, now long gone, using self-patterning sock yarn . . .
And just last week I was telling Adam how annoying knitting gloves is, how you have to knit each finger separately on 4 double points and it's really fiddly and takes too long . . . and yet, here I am. Knitting a glove.
And I am totally in LOVE with this GLOVE!
I'm thinking if I don't bind off the first glove and instead immediately start the second, I might actually end up with a set this time . . .

have you seen nona’s icord gloves (http://nonaknits.typepad.com/nonaknits/2005/10/icord_gloves_1s.html)? i think it’s a lot easier to knit than doing each finger on 4 DPNs.
