What's this? A pair of socks!?!? Can it be true?
Behold!
I just finished the second sock, grafted the toes and wove in the ends! I haven't finished a pair of sock in a LONG time so this feels really nice. This yarn is so yummy, I plan on buying more to stash away for future socks. The Bright Charcoal color looks really gorgeous online, and I really like Sahara, but as with any Colinette yarns each skein is so different you really have to check each one before you buy it. I saw one skein of Sahara in person and it was too orange with not enough brown so I passed it up. It's not like I need it, which is what I told the LYSO when she offered to special order it for me. ;o)
I shot the FO picture on my fire escape, it feels so New York-y with that background! Please excuse my ridiculously white legs, they're not quite as scary as the appear in this shot. I swear.
Project specs:

Whoa! Those came out amazing! I’m so jealous. Glad to see that you weren’t struck by SSS ;-)
that’s so funny…i was saying to myself her legs are so damn white! otherwise socks look great. missing you ivette!
Wow, that’s pretty impressive! I think my next pair of socks will be out of one of my 4 skeins (yes, 4) that I’ve got stashed away of this yarn. Glad to know you had enough yarn to finish them up. Now what’s happening with the other socks, one was in Koigu, I believe and the other in the Cabin Cove sock yarn?. . . (p.s. yes I know I am evil for mentioning it)

One week, two socks, size ones? Wow. You can crank them out. I am very, very impressed. And Jitterbug does some in ridiculously fabulous colors, I mean Fruit Coulis? Even the name is good.
