Dabbling in other crafts

I've been playing with jewelry again. I just finished these:

earrings

I found the onyx hoops in a beading store and couldn't resist buying them. A little silver-coated copper wire and some fishhooks later, and I've got myself a new pair of earrings!

Here is how they look on, for scale:

Working with the wire was harder than I expected but it definitely lends itself to lots of interesting applications. I got about 15 ideas while bending the wire around to get it to look like I wanted, and I have leftover wire after finishing these so I may play at making some rings or something . . .

Today while in the garment district buying buttons (yes, again) I also bought some ribbon to make headbands. . . because clearly I really do need more hobbies. I simply have nothing to do to occupy my free time. Seriously.

Those earrings are very pretty. They turned out very nicely.

Where do you find all of the time and hands to do all of this? I have to know! The earrings are great.
