Ok, I lied.

I couldn't help myself.

I actually did start the cashmere sweater and got about 3" of moss stitch done and the design figured out, but the Tanglewood was literally yelling my name from the other room . . . and I couldn't resist.

I wound some up, did a quick swatch, and started knitting. I'm making a top-down raglan, oversized, with wide 3/4 length sleeves that end in a garter fisherman rib (shown in the picture). Actually, I'm already half done -- the sleeves are finished and I'm knitting down the body right now.

This is what happens when I catch a Law & Order marathon on TV on a lazy Sunday afternoon . . .

I need to toss off a couple of those 3/4 sleeve top-down raglans myself. Love that yarn – how could you possibly resist the lure?

Pretty pretty yarn and colors. Yeah, Law and Order marathons are deadly for me too :) My husband loves Jack McCoy, not sure if I should be disturbed by that ;)

Oh come on… You cannot blame Law & Order. You just cannot resist the siren song of casting on a new project - marathons or not. ;)

Yes, yes, Law and Order. I love Jack McCoy, too… my sister and I agree that he has the “sexy older man” thing going on.

My husband thinks this is weird, but he watches the Law and Order, too!
