False alarm.

Turns out I can "knit" only for about two minutes at a time and it's so slow and clumsy that it's no fun at all. After 3.5 days of sitting around the house watching TV and reading blogs, I am at a level of boredom I don't remember feeling since I was a kid. I can't wait to go back to work on Monday, although I don't know what work'll be like with this huge brace on my arm . . . a trip to the bookstore is in order for tomorrow, that's for sure. Off to check my to-read list over at goodreads, LMK if you have any suggestions!

Oh my gosh! I hope you have an easier time of it today and henceforth. I hope you start to feel less restless and bored once you find the routine of work and reading.

The Yiddish Policeman’s Union was a terrific read. By Michael Chabon.

The last great book I read was The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. I hope you have a fast recovery! I can only imagine how frustrating it is not to be able to knit, bake and/or create.

no suggestions, because I only read biographies (and most people that I know don’t) – you might want to try books that the current crop of award-nominated movies are based on – you can read “Benjamin Button” on line – it’s a novella by F Scott Fitzgerald.

I empathize totally – I could neither knit nor type much for about a month to six weeks during my recuperation from the wrist surgery. I was going NUTZ!!!

your body is telling you what you can and cannot do … remember that!
