More VKLive Loot
I actually did finish the Snapdragon hat but haven't managed to get a decent photo of it yet, so to tide you over with some blog content in the meantime, here's some more of the purchases I made at VKLive:
- 6 skeins of Koigu KPPPM in a stunning mix of multicolors with a brownish/purple background. Color #846X. Will become a vest-ish thing once I settle on a stitch pattern to complement the stockinette
- A tub of Soak's new Heel cream - this smells lovely and is already coming in handy. Although my collection of moisturizers/lotions is getting kind of ridiculous, I couldn't pass this one up!
- Cookie A's newest book, Knit.Sock.Love - filled with Cookie's trademark complicated and unusual sock designs. I got Cookie to sign it for me and it's now the most treasured book in my knitting collection! It's great inspiration and the cover alone makes me smile when I see it. It's coffee-book-worthy for sure.
In other knitting news, I got sidetracked this past weekend and ended up knitting up a new design that had previously only been a sort of hint in my mind. It's a set of striped armwarmers and a matching slouchy hat. I still have the finishing left to do on that but will hopefully get pictures up by next weekend . . .
Oh and don't worry, I haven't forgotten about the promised S3 Hat pattern. It's nearly finished and I intend to publish it sometime early next week. Subscribers to my mailing list will be the first to know when it's available for sale!

Hahaha..I am not surprised that your yarn purchase from VKLive is Koigu KPPPM!! I also love the cover of that book.
