Meet Brownie!

Last night I brought home my first-ever foster dog! His name is Brownie (not that he knows his name) and he's the sweetest, calmest chihuahua I've ever met. All he wants to do is nap in my lap! He's a total cuddle-bug. He's fully potty-trained, thankfully, but other than that he doesn't know any commands at all. I'll be working on teaching him the basics while he's living here with me! He's also a very picky eater, which is really weird for me since Arnold eats everything . . . actually, come to think of it, the two of them are about as different as two dogs can be. Arnold is super hyper and runs around all day, while Brownie mostly sits and watches, or naps!

If you're in the NYC area and interested in adopting a 4-year-old male chihuahua, please get in touch!

OH, I would take him right away, but I am in Alabama… He would so love to meet this one: http://www.deborahfillmer.com/2010/10/09/my-two-best-friends/

Ebby would love him! Hope you find him a great home!

Be careful with those foster dogs – they have a way of becoming forever dogs! My husband and I fostered ONE time – and ended up with a second dog (this is her right after we officially adopted her: http://www.flickr.com/photos/8671022@N05/1197562501/)! Of course, we now can’t imagine life without her, but I don’t know that we’ll be fostering again!
