Daily Photo: What's better than stockinette cashmere?

Nothing, that's what.

I'm knitting this navy blue cashmere (it's String Classica I bought about four years ago) into a Kim pullover. The design is by Perl Grey whose work I have always admired but this is the first time I'm knitting one of her patterns. I started this last week because I wanted a mindless stockinette project to work on and I had forgotten my plain stockinette sock at work . . . silly reason, I know, but there you have it.

Stockinette flies off my needles like nothing else, which is probably part of why I find it so soothing to do. I've got nearly 15 inches knit already, in just 5 days! That's kind of nuts.

Oh and the fabric it's knitting up into? The fabric feels insane. Can't wait to wear this.
