Striking new KPPPM colors are 15% off until September 23rd! From left to right: P106, P112B, P134, P370 and P603.
Speaking of KPM - I'm adding the solid colors throughout the year and move the KPM yarn to their own section on the website.
See how the KPM plum picks up the plum in the multicolor skein? One of the customer I know in real life has already scoop up this pairing for her Koigu collection.
I've started to pair up single skeins of KPPPM (multicolors) with single skeins of KPM (solid colors). I call them Koigu Pairings . Let me know how you like them.
New York Sheep and Wool (Rhinebeck) is around the corner and for the second year I will be a vendor at the Indie Untangled Rhinebeck Trunk Show Friday evening. I've been sewing up a storm - there are new prints for the drawstring project bags and (hopefully) I can sneak in one or two new bag styles. I love meeting you guys - stop by and say hello!
A brief description of the colors that were added in November and December:
P133B
These skeins reminds me of the leaves and trees changing their colors in the fall.
P300
Browns with hints of beige and peach.
P439
There are so many gorgeous layers of purple, the color is quite stunning.
P524
This pink/purple is an example of the wild coloration that can happen while dyeing Koigu.
P854
Such a pretty combination of moss with rust/burnt orange. Another winner for the fall.
P123A
Lots of bright colors and some of the skeins have a chalkiness to the look.
P324
This color with its celery green, muted yellow and purpley pink makes me think of spring.
P333
To me this is an earthy, southwest color way. It's like finding bits of turquoise in the desert.
P357
Olive brown with an intense pink as a very subtle accent.
P637
Some call it fuchsia, others call it magenta. it's a gorgeous intense pink and it works for any project you have in mind.
P862
Shades of oranges and purples, very pretty!
It's time again for new yarn! Here are the September pretties and they can all be found here :
P315 - A lovely dark neutral, my first thought was “It’s all the color of a terrarium - brown, shades of green, and a bit of cream mixed in”. A versatile color that can go with everything.
P414 - Soft orange with blue streaks. These are the colors of several sports teams - perhaps a hat to wear at a game?
P436 - Purple and blue with bits of olive. Very suitable for baby sweaters since the color won't overpower the baby.
P820 - Very nice mix of blues, purples, yellow and pink. It is actually lighter than pictured (I will shoot the color again and replace the photo).
P872 - My favorite out of the September colors. It’s green with pops of neon yellow and pink. I’d love to make a pair of socks out of this color.
P882 - More flashy brights! Yellow and blue really dominant this color way. This would be a fun knitted or crochet toy for a youngster.
There you have it. I've been busy this past month - I'm lining up a couple of blog posts about some of the project bags I'm working on and about my visit to some yarn and fabric stores in the Washington DC area. I hope to get them up in the next week or two.
