More health issues for Bobo*

This time, Bobo = me

I've spent a horrible week suffering from nearly-constant vertigo. A trip to the primary care doctor revealed nothing and only led to more worry, as I've been referred to a neurologist and an audiologist. The anti-dizziness meds haven't done anything for the dizziness, but did leave me with their so-called side effect of "drowsiness" -- if it's the only effect a drug has on you though, it's no longer a "side" effect, is it?

(aside: anyone remember that episode of Friends when Rachel's broke and orders only a side salad for dinner, and the waiter says "and that will be on the side of?" and she replies, "you can put it right here next to my water")

Being dizzy sucks. Thankfully, I can still knit, as long as I don't look down or make too many sudden movements of my head. And I've been doing some sprucing up around here, how do you like the snazzy new logo down the left side of the page? In the near future I'm going to completely redo the whole site so all the pages look the way the blog currently looks . . . that is, if I can get Thesis to do what I want it to!

And the knitting? The shawlette Leila is done and will get blocked this weekend, and I've started another non-sock project using sock yarn . . . but I'll save that for the next post.

Hopefully I won't be dizzy while writing it.

(* I refer to anything and anyone as Bobo if the mood strikes me)
