Break

So it's finally gotten to the point where I can't ignore the pain and numbness in my hands and wrists anymore. I went to the doctor today and am now on anti-inflamatories and have been told to wear braces on both wrists at all times. The pain is much better since I took the pill but it makes me sleepy and now I'm really scared of what the next step will be once I go to the hand specialist.

So I'm laying off the internet and knitting for a while. I've been sewing in ends instead . . . maybe I'll get that part of my projects finished now that I can't really do anything fun.

A direct quote from my doctor: "It's kind of like when someone says, 'every time I put my hand in the fire it burns' . . . "

Good luck with your hand. I went to Dr Anne Miller @Englewood hospital (not far from Handknits)

for my hand. It ended up that I had tendonitits not CPT. After some R&R and some PT my hand was much better.
