I cannot believe it's been two weeks since I posted. How is that possible???
Well, let's see. I've been running around like crazy. School started, and I'm stil working full time. I ended up telling the yarn shop that I can't teach classes for at least a month, as my schedule's already ridiculous.
The best news I have is that we found a place for me to live!!! I'm moving to a condo in a town just across the river from midtown Manhattan, it's a two bedroom, 2.5 bath second floor "penthouse," and I'm totally IN LOVE with it. It's actually too big for what my sister and I need, but I'll take too big over too small anyday! We're hoping to close by the end of the month, and I promise this time I will post pictures of the place, since it's AWESOME! This is the first time I remember looking forward to moving since, oh, 1999, when all this damn moving first started.
In unrelated news, I found the digicam I've been wanting for the last month on sale at the local Circuit City. I may just have to pop on over there and buy it tomorrow. Which means more pictures here! Woo!
Knittingwise, I've been working on shawls/ponchos/stoles in every configuration. Will post pics when there's something interesting to see.
I really enjoy being here..
Congratulations on finding what sounds like a fabbo place! I know that the buildings that are coming up on the west side of the Hudson River from Midtown look really great. I remember when that area wasn’t so cool (when I would go to Yaohan, now Mitsuwa). It’s fabulous and fun to see an area blossom.
I also can’t wait for pictures of your new place.
I know this is a blast from the past…about two years agao. Would you have a copy of the Glee Sweater pattern that was given free on the internet? I have been searching high and low for this pattern with no lucky. Please email me. Thanks Lacy – studiolacy@yahoo.com

I am going to check today but I think I found something on the internet regarding that “chair cozy”. I think it might be in “Vogue Knitting The Ultimate Knitting Book”. I’ll let you know.
