Chiagu: Revised!

Tada!

Check out the Chiagu website to see the updated format for this venture.

I've decided to publish patterns individually rather than as a "magazine." This way, I'll be able to pay my designers 5X as much as I had originally planned on! Each pattern will obviously have to cost more, and now I will be offering fewer free patterns, but my ultimate goal is to be a resource for small designers to be paid, not to offer yet another free pattern site. So this is ideal for what I want, and I hope designers like it, too!

As for the purchasing public, each pattern will sell for $4, with the option to bundle 3 patterns for $10. I don't think that's unreasonable, and I hope I'm not alone in that belief!

It's about time designers got paid for their work! And I strongly believe that the customer should be showing they value the item by paying for it.

If anyone has any questions or comments, please feel free to leave them here, or you can always email me at yivich(at)gmail.com.

I wholeheatedly agree! I love the new concept and can’t wait to see the first bundle and Liz’s design. I already love the splash page! Is that KPPM I spy?

I’m working on finalizing the design at this very moment. Think classic and elegant. Hope everyone likes it.

That’s a great idea to sell patterns individually at an affordable price. I can’t wait to see Chiagu when it launches!

Is there a particular format you’d like submitted patterns to be in?
