Where did February GO?

Today is my sister's 24th birthday. Happy Birthday Sis!

This must mean it's March. Which means Adam's birthday's in like 2 weeks. How is it MARCH already? I think I blinked twice and February was gone. I lost a whole month, people!

I'm redoing the Chiagu site's functionality in the next week or so, so if you try to buy something and get a weird message, please email me and let me know.

The new stitch marker supplies have been delayed a bit, so I won't be announcing contest winners until I can show you the markers. Please be patient, two people are still going to win, it's just taking longer than expected (which often happens when you're having something custom-produced to your specifications). I promise it's worth it! I'm really excited about these new markers.

In more markers news, I've bought many new beads and charms so that I can expand on the selection. I also was finally able to get more ladybugs, so that inventory will be replenished soon. Why is it that everything I want seems to be on backorder?

As for knitting, I finished the striped off-one-shoulder sweater (see this entry for info on this sweater), but I still have to weave in ends. It fits like a GLOVE (negative 2" of ease and super-stretchy merino combine very nicely) and I love it. The problem is that I want to write a pattern for it and make it available to you guys, but this sweater does not lend itself easily to sizing. First off, row gauge is super important on this, or the stripes/shoulder won't work. Also, you're severely limited in yarn choices, it must be super-stretchy like Filatura Zara is in order to fit right.

And I'm afraid the neckline wouldn't stay up unless you make it as skin-tight as I did, and I know that many women aren't big fans of skin-tight clothing, let alone skin-tight handknit sweaters. So I will probably only offer 3 sizes, sized to fit a 32", 34", and 36" bust (actual knitted size will be 30/32/34). I know it's funny to ask this before showing you the sweater (I promise a picture by the end of the week), but would any of you be interested in such a limiting pattern? Or the other side of the question, if you're bigger than I am (I made the 36"), would you want to make this for yourself?

I LOVE that you’re offering small sizes. I am a petite 32" and so am hard pressed to find trendy cute patterns. Amen.

I would definitely be interested in this pattern and I’m okay with the small sizes (I’m 34") and I like skin-tight clothing.
