If you thought for a second that the post title meant I'm joining the stash knitting movement . . . we haven't been properly introduced yet.
New stuff that has walked in my house over the last week:
I'm clearly still in a grey period. On the upper left, enough Margrite Bulky to make a pullover for my dad. I'm knitting him Beau from the Rowan Vintage Knits book, but of course I can't just follow a pattern so I will be changing the neckline, and of course I had to make it in MB because my mom's sweater is in a cashmere/merino blend so I couldn't very well make my dad's in anything less, could I?
On the upper right, Classic Elite Forbidden in yet more charcoal grey, this time for me. I'm making a jacket with turned back cuffs and a wide collar, that blob at the top is the back, which I finished in just two nights. Knitting at 3.5 sts/inch will do that to a girl!
And on the bottom is KPPPM in color 900S which I have never seen before. Speckly brown/green is so not my style but this colorway is just so unusual I had to buy some for the stash. My coworker Lidia said she was really relieved to see me buying something other than pink or purple!
The closest I ever come to "knit from your stash" is putting the new yarn into the stash mess before knitting it. ;o)
yum yum, i love that koigu color!
Amen! A stash is there to be expanded!
I’m in a gray phase too – I wonder if it’s the time of year?

Great Koigu color. I didn’t think for one moment that you would join in such a silly game. You work a little too close to be able to resist the temptation, don’t you?
