Having a rough time of it

Still not back. It's actually gotten worse, actually. My knee started hurting again (the one I injured in December, I made a doctor's appointment and will hopefully be getting an MRI in a week) which is making me even grumpier. And when you add in what happened on Monday at VATech, I am teetering between rage and tears. I am not good at handling things I can't understand, can't compartmentalize or assign to a category.

Just to say I tried, here's a list of good things I'm trying to focus on:

  1. The Twinkle top fits and is wonderful, I wore it to work and most people didn't even notice I was wearing something I'd made! That's the best compliment, in my opinion.
  2. I'm going to MDS&W! Less than 2 weeks away! I foresee more sock yarn in my future.
  3. I found a new primary care doctor whose staff isn't as rude as my old one. I used to avoid going to the doctor not because of a fear of doctors (although I do have some of that) but because I can't stand his rude staff. When I called for an appointment today and the woman was rude even after I called her out on it, I hung up and immediately found another doctor, whose phone person was friendly and helpful even to a new patient. Here's hoping I like the doctor too!

My heart goes out to everyone at VATech and their friends and family. I can't imagine what you're going through but please know the rest of the country is with you in your shock and sorrow.

When I resurface I promise so better posts. 'Till then I'm off to distract myself with your blogs.

I hope you find an answer for the nagging knee issue. Feel better soon…Although I think that trip to Maryland may help just a bit…
