HP7 knitting

I was one of the crazies who went out at midnight to buy the new Harry Potter book -- but I wasn't one of the ones who waited in line for hours at B&N, I found a street vendor with barely any line and scored the 20th or so book from his lot! Much better than the 4-block-long line at my local B&N . . .

Stayed up 'till 4am reading that first night, then came straight home from work yesterday and read to the end. I finished last night at about 1:30. It was great! Best one of the series, in my opinion. I'm not going to say anything specific because I don't want to ruin it for anyone, but I loved it A LOT.

All that reading meant tons of knitting (y'all know I can't just do one thing at a time, right?), so I've almost finished a new sweater in some gorgeous new yarn that just came in. I'm telling you, I'm in serious trouble this fall. We've only gotten partial shipments from 3 vendors so far, and I've already bought 3 sweaters worth of yarn . . .

Hi Ivete, Yes, that mericash is gorgeous isn’t it? I made Kate Gilbert’s pea pod set in that yarn and it was so soft!

I’m a third of the way through the book, but am forcing myself to read it slowly :)

I loved the book as well. I’m sad the series is over and I’m almost tempted to pick up the book and start reading it again. I guess I should at least wait a few more days for it all to sink it. Not sure how you managed to read and knit at the same time. I haven’t mastered that skill! LOL!
