New feature: Stuff I've favorited on Ravelry

Posted on April 22, 2011 by knittingpatterns4you | 0 Comments

This morning I was going through my friend feed on Ravelry and adding stuff as favorites when I realized that I should probably be sharing those awesome projects and patterns here on my blog! So I've decided to do something similar to my weekly "caught my eye this week" post from my cooking blog over here to share the cool knitting stuff I've come across in the last week. Hope you enjoy this new "feature" and find some awesome inspiration of your own!

First up, the Tamarix Quilt from Morfo (Ravelry link):

I love this project for so many reasons it's hard to know where to start! The colors! The awesome photo with its beautiful lighting and the cat sitting on top! That cat makes me laugh because Arnold does the exact same thing anytime I'm trying to take a picture of something on the floor.

But back to the blanket: It's done in Cascade 220 in a great, modern version of a girly palette. She made it as a baby blanket and I think it's stunning! Congrats on a beautiful project Morfo!

Another project that caught my eye this morning were these Sandal Baby Booties by Crochet Dreamz. So cute and so clever! The pattern is available as a PDF download for just $5 if you're interested. Crochet Dreamz is a new-to-me blog/designer and she's got lots of cute crochet patterns available, check her out if you're in the market for cute crocheted baby stuff!

Last but certainly not least, I'm fairly obsessed with this Create Comforts Cardi made by Nancye (Ravelry link):

My Facebook update this morning about resisting casting on for yet another new project? Totally about this one. I already went and bought the pattern from Madelinetosh but shockingly, I don't have the right yarn in my stash. And by that I mean that I don't have yarn that's close enough to the above photo! I'm clearly obsessed with this very specific cardigan. I think it will be such a useful addition to my wardrobe!

I wonder if maybe Nancye would consider selling it to me . . .
