Runner's Watchcap Hat Knitting Pattern

The Runner’s Watchcap is a unisex hat pattern designed to fit snugly on your head so that it won’t fly off on your run or while you ski down the mountain. Because it uses only one skein of sock yarn, it’s a great way to show off that special skein you’re been hoarding — wear the gorgeous yarn on your head instead of in your shoes! The simple ribbing lends itself to using both subtle semi-solids as well as outrageous handpainted colors.

The hat is knit in the round on a circular and/or double pointed needles. The finishing is about as minimal as it comes: just weave in the two ends and you’re done!
