Chaya Shawl Knitting Pattern

The two halves of this shawl are knit in different directions to play with the self-striping or handpainted yarn. Simple garter stitch interspersed with dropped stitches make this an easy and fun project to knit. And because it’s knit in two halves, it’s easy to make it as big as possible with whatever amount of yarn you have: simply knit the first half until you’re a little under half done with your yarn, then start the second half!

The pattern is suitable for all weights of yarn.
