Production's UP!
So all this time I spend knitting at work has really been making a dent in my WIP pile. I finished the purple lace scarf, now I just have to wash and lightly block it. I also finished weaving in ends on Heath, tried it on and realized the collar was too short, so I added another inch and a half to it and now it's pretty good. It's all done except I need to get something to weave into the neckline, I think a piece of suede cord would be ideal. The sweater fits but the sleeves are just exactly long enough, so they have the appearance of being too short. I think I will be folding them up into a shorter length when I wear it.
I also am about half done with the SilkRoad Tweed sweater that I'm making up from the top down. I worked on it yesterday during must see tv and got a ton finished. I've been staying up way too late (last night I saw 5 am for the 3rd time this week) knitting and reading, I've re-read OotP and am now re-reading Wicked, for the, oh, billionth time.
The Kersti shawl is almost done, too, I am at the end of the 4th skein and should have the whole thing done by the weekend. It will also need blocking so I'll probably be doing it at the old apartment, there just isn't any room in my place.
I've been daydreaming about what to buy at Stiches. . . and then yesterday I got some eBay yarn, 10 skeins of med purple Lightweight DK. I can't believe how much yarn I own. ;o)
