Sorry I've ben MIA, everyone. My life is all over the place lately.
Starting with the results of the test last week. Which led to my hand specialist saying I need surgery in both hands. "but we can wait until the summer's over." Gee, thanks. That's sweet. Really.
I'm going to get a second opinion, but it seems pretty clear I'll have to get surgery sometime this fall. The test also revealed I probably have arthitis, too, but I need to get blood tests to determine that. Most of my family has arthitis, this is no shock to me. I've been saying I have arthritis for years now, but doctors don't believe you if you're 20 and claim arthritis.
Work has also been insane lately, I haven't had a day off since last Tuesday. I am NOT going in tomorrow even if they call and say every other employee called out. Really. I mean it.
Knittingwise. . . finished both the ribbon shawl for my supervisor and the pink shawl for my friend Emma. The second Charlote is almost done, too, I finally got around to buying the last skein it needed. I've been in too much pain to knit at work though so the progress on that is painstakingly slow. I need to do a big blocking party, maybe tomorrow. With pictures, hopefully.
I promise to try to update more often!
If I have anything exciting to say, that is.
First, I want to say that I am a big fan of your site. I am sorry to hear that you are experencing the pain of arthritis. I have had arthritis for 5 years now and one thing that always help me is a product called Flexcin. I don’t like pluging peoples products but this one works.
Check them out.
hey, you take care of yourself, ok?
i’ve said it before and i’ll say it again, medical technology these days is amazing.
so is holistic medicine.
you’ll be fine.
and know that the best thing you can do is be good to yourself.
