USA!

I'm so into the Olympics, I got a TV just in time! When Phelps set the world record yesterday I was almost in tears. This is one of those events that just reminds you how much good there is in people, if we would all just stop focusing on the bad!

And this Olympics, I feel even more strongly about rooting for the US team, because this past Wednesday I became a US citizen. I am registering to vote this coming week, and should have my new passport in the next few weeks, too. So exciting! Too bad the naturalization sheet has the worlds most unattractive picture of me EVER, but that's only to be expected with government images, right?

Yay, Ivete! From one American citizen to another, congratulations!

One thing is for certain, it’s going to be a LOT easier for YOU to vote than it will be for me. You would not BELIEVE the forms I have to fill out to vote from overseas!

Hey, Congrats! Welcome to the team! Now be sure to vote – good lord knows none of the natural-born citizens will! :)
