Today I had one of those cheerful days when there's a bounce in your step, you default to smiling instead of glaring at strangers, and somehow going to the doctor and getting a diagnosis doesn't make you feel worse, but rather better (doctor says I have irritable bowel syndrome, in case you were interested. If you weren't interested, I apologize for the TMI. Again. I swear I won't give further details.)
I shot this picture on Park Ave today. . . the color of these tulips literally stopped me in my tracks. I want a tank top this exact shade of pink. Or yarn that color (to make a tank with).
Who plants these, anyway? They're all the way down Park and they look amazing. They definitely weren't there before I left on my trip, then I come back and BOOM! Spring is here! I didn't even wear a coat today.
I also finished the Malta project yesterday, and it came out so well that I'm really surprised. Two customers who saw it are already making it. That makes a girl feel good! I'll be putting the pattern up at Chiagu and showing it to you here, as soon as I can get a decent picture taken. If only I had a photographer, I'd make him shoot me in front of those tulips . . .
(Marlana & Jessica, your prizes will go out Monday. Margaret, I will drop your stitch markers off tomorrow, ok?)
Sorry to hear about the diagnosis of IBS, although at least now you know what to do about it.
I was diagnosed with that about 4 years ago, but through changing my diet, I was able to completely get rid of it. I haven’t been affected in at least 2 years!
The tulips are gorgeous!
so you’re actually coming over? let me know about what time – really would love to see you -
I think flowers just add happiness to just about everywhere.
I’m so happy they have a diagnosis for you. It definitely seemed more than just something triggering your stomach. What is the medical treatment for it, if any? Glad you had such a great day!
