Close call

Thanks to everyone who chimed in about the color choices! When I wrote that post I had my mind made up already to use the lavender, but I wanted some reassurance. Then I actually cast on a mitt with the lavender, and decided I really don't like it at all, plus it doesn't go with anything I own. So at least for the moment, I'm not knitting those mittens.

Which is really good because I have no call to be knitting anything new! So I put that cast on mitt aside and focused on the pile of UFOs: I got the brown & pink cardigan all finished up, and I finished a project for a customer at work. I was feeling all proud of myself but the call of Koigu was as loud as ever. . . so I went UFO diving and found my barely started Frost Flowers shawl in burgundy Koigu. I've been working on it non stop since Monday and I'm already on the 3rd skein. I'm planning to go as far as 6 skeins gets me on the main body pattern, then doing the last pattern and the border.

So that's two projects off the list and one old one put back in active status! :::patting self on back:::

I’m new to this blog and a bit late for the mitten discussion…but I think the peach is beautiful! It pops with the chocolate and looks all warm and cosy. Try it if you go back to that project :)
