Prism Cashmere Blue Lagoon

See that? That's a new sweater that is roughly 4" away from completion. It was born on Thursday, when this amazing new color of Prism Cashmere came into the store . . . and a sweater's worth came home with me that same day! The color is called Blue Lagoon, and it's an incredible mix of teals, turquoises, and olive green/browns. This picture comes pretty close to what it looks like in real life, only it's even prettier in person!

I've finished the sleeves and yoke and am now working on the body. It will be a raglan cardigan with extra-long sleeves, with a texture pattern on the yoke and at the cuffs and three buttons at the top. I even found the perfect buttons today at M&J!

Teal button

It's actually darker than this IRL, the flash makes it look very turquoise but it's more teal. They're the perfect size and color, and they were less than $1 each! Given my track record of buying ridiculously expensive buttons, their relative cheapness makes then even more perfect!

Watch for an FO shot here, hopefully tomorrow! If I finish it today it will tie with the orange raglan for my fastest-ever finished sweater.
