FO: Cabled Sweater Bangle

Posted on August 19, 2007 by knittingpatterns4you | 3 Comments

Second in the series, I have ideas for a bunch more! It's amazing how gratifying it is to work on such a small project, especially thinking it through from concept to execution (I don't tend to design small projects too often, since there are so many good designs out there already for almost everything I'd want to make in the "accessory" category).

For this one I knit the cable strip, then grafted the cast on to the bind off and sewed the ring around the bracelet. I really like how the reverse stockinette fabric looks stretched out over the bangle, I may have to make one entirely in reverse stockinette.

Project specs:
Yarn & materials: Tiny bit of Karabella Supercashmere and a wooden bangle
Needles: US size 7 DPNs
Started: August 15, 2007
Finished: August 15, 2007

(btw, these are up for sale in my Etsy shop if you're interested)
