Yet more stashing

Two of the newest skeins that have come to live with the rest of my stash: Fleece Artist Somoko in the color Origin, straight from The Loopy Ewe. (Aside: What is going on over there? I'm glad I didn't want any of that Wollemeise, cuz I had no chance of scoring any, anyway! I wanted some of the Yarn Nerd stuff from this week's sneak up but by the time I got over there, only two colors were left. Maybe it's for the best, it's not exaclty like I have nothing to work on.)

This Somoko stuff is devine! It's 65% Merino/20% kid mohair/10% nylon/5% silk, but it has such a great crunch and sheen that it seems like it's half silk. The color looks vibrant and has such amazing depth . . . I think with every skein of Fleece Artist yarn I see, I fall a little more in love with their stuff. I wish it were more locally available so I could see its beauty in person, but then again maybe it's good that I have to get it online, or I might have already bought a ton of it!

I finishing knitting the Koigu Cashmere wrap and even blocked it, but I haven't woven in the ends yet. I ended up using only the 6 original skeins, which was nice because that meant I got to return some yarn today for credit! And with that credit I bought yet more yarn . . . I'm sure no one is surprised by that.

I'm working on a pattern for the wrap, it should be finished by the end of the week. FO photos for that and the Vivian cardigan coming soon, I swear!
