Why Texas is just *different*

Texassink

That, my friends, is a SINK. Not just any sink, of course. This sink was in a McDonald's, at a rest stop somewhere between Amarillo and Dallas. Adam and I walked into our respective restrooms, and when I walked out (he was already out and waiting, of course), I walked up to him, leaned in close and wispered, "Was there a Texas sink in the boys' room, too?" to which he replied, "I was just about to ask you the same thing! Where's the camera?"

When we showed this picture to our friend in Dallas, she told us that someone in her neighborhood has a Texas-shaped POOL.

Being a Texas Gal myself, I will say I’ve never seen a sink shaped like this great state, but I like it. Unlike the previous poster, that thinks it’s something that needs to be apologized for…I would actually put one in my bathroom. Yes, Texas people are different. :-P Texas Pride is a real disease.

I’m for it. Anything that makes one McDonalds different from the rest, or even the McDonaldses in one state different from the rest. That’s a big enough organization that a sink manufacturer might be willing to make a special design just for the chance to sell the sink to all their franchises in Texas.

I think you can (just) forgive a Texas pool, but a sink???

Texas is nothing short of madness everytime I go. It’s so much fun and soo very different than New York and Jersey.
