That's roughly the number of stitches I knit on my commute home tonight, which took slightly longer than usual (there was an accident in the tunnel, I think). It took just over an hour to get home. So that's, what, 19 stitches per minute? I must really like this project!
I'm working on that Margrite Bulky, which is just YUMMY. It's one of my favorite yarns (a close second to Koigu, actually), and this project has me so excited that I just want to keep working on it non-stop. I cast on for it on Sunday and already have 11" done (and this thing is 58" wide, with intarsia, stripes, and cables, so that's a whole lotta 11"!), it's getting too big to commute with, unfortunately. I may start a sleeve to take around with me. . .
Thank you for all your nice comments on the cardi and good wishes for my health. I feel much better, although I'm not quite all the way back to normal yet, I still feel run down. I'm trying to eat good stuff and sleep more, but it's hard to make myself sleep, I'd rather stay up and knit! I'm even drinking tea right now, instead of soda. You may not realize how big a deal that is . . .
ETA: I am SO JEALOUS of all the Rhinebeck posts. I'm gonna go sit in the corner and sew up a store sample and try NOT to think about all the fun I didn't have cuz my stomach got mad at me. Grumble grumble.
So good to know you’re feeling better!

It’s sad that you didn’t get to Rhinebeck, but just think — you manage a yarn store! If you’d ever like to come north to visit Morehouse Merino’s store and some stores up here, let me know.
