I'm (almost) back
I got back from England last night and went straight to work this morning (big surprise), so I'm still catching up on everything. I'm horribly behind on blogs, haven't unpacked, and I can't find anything in my apartment! (because I now have to keep it "neat" so prospective buyers might actually, you know, buy the place) And the sock I worked on during the entire flight back yesterday? Too small, won't go over my heel.
Instead of going further into the bad stuff, hows about a picture of me all dressed up? I wore lipstick for the first time since marching band!
That's me and Adam at the Trinity May Ball on Monday night. We are both so unbelievably unphotogenic that of all the pictures we took that night, this is the only one in which one or both of us didn't look downright scary. (I look a little strange and I'm squinting my left eye, but you take what you can get).
Aren't our dressed-up alter egos so cute? We had a great time, although I was exhausted before it ended -- I haven't seen that side of the sunrise in a LONG time!
And in case you were wondering, yes, I was cold. A shawl wouldn't have cut it, I ended up wearing his jacket from 9pm on. Oh well, at least I didn't waste time making a shawl!
