Oops I did it again.

Somehow when I wasn't looking, another new project jumped in my lap and started knitting itself. Cables and short rows! Cool! If this one works out it's going to be really sweet and require a couple of amazing buttons to top it all off.
I almost managed to talk myself out of this project because I have *so much* grey in the stash that it actually made me hesitate when I was ringing myself up for this today, but I didn't like any of the other colors this yarn comes in, and I really wanted to use this specific yarn . . . and I really like grey, and you can't have too much of a good thing, can you? And anyway, who cares if I end up cranking out 6 grey projects this fall?
It's not the first time my hobby is illogical, and it certainly won't be the last. ;o)

I applaud your color choice. It’s classy. And those cables and shortrows look amazing in grey.
See, I too, like grey. More than like, I suppose. My dd has upon more than several occasions happened into my armoire and mentioned that something other than grey or black might be a nice addition to the wardrobe.
So I bought a red tee-shirt.
Grey is cool, clear, comes in so many shades and goes with everything. Truly, you just can’t have too much grey.
Looking forward to seeing the other 5 grey projects!
